My husband and I just moved back to New Mexico after being away for 3 years and we’ve been dreaming of New Mexican food that whole time. We randomly chose El Comal for our first meal since being back and we were not disappointed! Friendly service, huge plates, chile to knock your socks off (we need to get our tolerance back up), and a good price for how much food you get. It cost us about $25 for two entrees that came with sopapillas, and the chips and salsa were complimentary. We’ll gladly be back!

I had a great experience at El Comal. The Santa Fe omelette was absolutely delicious, with just the right amount of green chilies to give it a nice, spicy kick. The coffee was also rich and flavorful, complementing the meal perfectly. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the portion sizes were generous—you definitely get plenty of food on your plate! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a tasty, hearty meal in a warm, inviting atmosphere.

We dined at this restaurant during our road trip from Phoenix to Santa Fe. As a vegan, I appreciated how they customized menu items to suit my dietary needs. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff were friendly, and the service was quick. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing NM style Mexican food. Everything was great, service was great and the prices were reasonable. We had Huevos rancheros and the Adovada combo.

We discovered El Comal during a trip to Santa Fe in June and returned for several more meals during our trip in July. The food is tasty and reasonably priced, and the staff are unfailingly welcoming and efficient. We've gone for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and every meal was delicious. Unlike many restaurants, the salsa that comes with the chips here has great flavor. Neither the restaurant nor the food is anything fancy, but if you're looking for a filling, authentic Mexican meal served with a smile, El Comal fits the bill. Buen provecho!

My family and I eat at El Comal at least 3 times a month. The food is delicious, and the service is always extraordinary. To me, it feels like I'm a kid again, sitting in my grandma's kitchen eating her home cooking. There's nothing like it. We have never left disappointed.
